We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our virtual ultramarathon platform, to track your race progress, to process transactions, and to send you related information, including confirmations and receipts.
When you start an activity (such as a run, walk, or ride), UltraQuest collects precise GPS location data to measure your distance, pace, and route. To keep recording accurately while your phone is in your pocket or the screen is off, the app collects location data in the background — even when the app is closed or not in use. Background location is used only to keep your active activity recording and is never used for advertising. We only collect location while an activity is running; you can stop tracking at any time, and you can revoke location permission at any time through your device settings.
We may share the information we collect as follows: with vendors, consultants, and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf; in response to a request for information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law, regulation, or legal process. We do not sell your personal information.
